composer install question

is it ok to have composer.phar in your web root?  just wondering on the best place to put it.  i'm reading through the docs for composer and laravel now.  looks very interesting!

Re: composer install question

Yes, it's okay to have that there, as far as I'm concerned. If you're worried, you can always remove it when you deploy your application... (although really it should only be in your local working copy, but not checked into Git).

Having said that, seeing how important Composer has become, it's also worth installing globally.
